Meaningful Systems LLC Enters Subcontract with Analytical Mechanics Associates to Support NASA RSES Contract
WOODBURY, Minn. — June 11, 2026 — Meaningful Systems LLC, a Minnesota-based systems engineering, systems innovation, and technology consulting company, has entered into a subcontract with Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) in support of NASA Langley Research Center’s Research, Engineering, and Science Services (RSES) contract.
NASA awarded the RSES contract to AMA in 2023 to support NASA Langley across research, engineering, science, technology development, systems analysis, modeling, integration, and flight hardware development. Through RSES, AMA supports NASA missions from early research and concept development through advanced engineering and flight hardware support.
Under this subcontract, Meaningful Systems will provide systems engineering support services in support of activities associated with the NASA Engineering and Safety Center (NESC). The NESC organizes technical experts into discipline-focused teams that provide independent testing, analysis, assessment, and engineering insight for NASA’s high-risk projects and missions. Meaningful Systems was founded in 2024 with the mission to have “a transformative and meaningful impact on the world by helping our customers and the world think about their systems differently, using a systems thinking mindset, to produce elegant solutions that make a positive difference.”
“This opportunity is directly aligned with why Meaningful Systems exists,” said Andrew Fried, founder of Meaningful Systems LLC. “NASA’s missions represent some of the most complex and meaningful systems challenges. I am honored to support AMA and the NESC systems engineering team as they develop innovations related to engineering problems that matter for the future of space exploration, science, and human progress.”
